Introducing Offline Mode: Powering Technicians Wherever They Work
Frontline work doesn’t pause just because the signal drops. Offline Mode makes technicians fully productive even without an internet connection, allowing them to update work orders, complete procedures, and capture progress seamlessly.

For frontline technicians, work doesn’t stop when the network does. Whether they’re servicing equipment in deep basements, remote locations, or areas with unstable connectivity, staying productive can be a challenge. Lost signals often mean stalled jobs, incomplete checklists, and manual note-taking that needs to be re-entered later. With the launch of Offline Mode, we’re changing that.
Offline Mode ensures technicians can continue critical work smoothly—even without an internet connection—so operations never grind to a halt.
Why Offline Mode Matters in the Field
Technicians often work in unpredictable environments. Connectivity can drop suddenly, leaving them unable to update work orders or complete crucial procedures. These disruptions slow down repairs, create data inconsistencies, and impact overall service reliability.
Offline Mode eliminates these bottlenecks by giving technicians the ability to keep working—accurately and efficiently—no matter where they are.
Smart Detection & Seamless Switching
The app now automatically detects when connectivity is lost and prompts the technician to switch to Offline Mode. This means:
- No surprise errors
- No accidental data loss
- No need to stop work
Technicians can also manually activate Offline Mode anytime, even when online—ideal for known low-signal areas.
What Technicians Can Do Offline
For this release, Work Orders is the first module supported offline, bringing the most essential field workflows to places where the network cannot reach.
Technicians can:
- Update work order status
- Complete procedures or checklists
- Add comments and notes
These capabilities ensure the core of field maintenance continues uninterrupted. To prevent conflicts when syncing back to the cloud, technicians cannot create, edit, or delete work orders offline. This keeps data clean, consistent, and reliable.
Customizable Offline Settings

Under Profile → Preferences, teams will now find a new Offline Settings section. This allows technicians and admins to configure the offline experience according to their operational needs—ensuring the best balance between flexibility and control.
Track and Sync Offline Changes Effortlessly
All offline actions are logged and can be viewed by tapping the new icon in the top-right corner of the app. When connectivity is restored, technicians can easily sync changes with a single action.
This ensures:
- No missed updates
- No duplication
- No confusion about what was completed offline
Techs stay fully informed, and managers get clean, accurate data.
The Result: Reliability That Travels With Your Team
With Offline Mode, technicians stay productive in any environment—whether they’re underground, outdoors, or simply in an area with weak coverage. No more stalled jobs, no backtracking, and no risky workarounds.
Offline Mode brings reliability to the frontline by ensuring that the work never stops, even when the network does.
